Navigating LGBTQ+ Situations at Work
When theory runs out and real life walks in, this is the workshop that tells you what to do next.
Service Description
Most managers don't get it wrong because they don't care. They get it wrong because nobody ever showed them what right looks like. Awareness is one thing. Knowing what to actually do in the moment is something else entirely. This workshop is built for the situations that catch people off guard — a colleague coming out mid-project, an offhand comment in a team meeting that lands badly, a complaint with an LGBTQ+ dimension that HR isn't sure how to handle, a conversation that needs to happen and nobody quite knows how to start it. It's practical, scenario-based and deliberately uncomfortable in the right places. Participants work through real situations, explore where well-meaning responses go wrong and leave with a clear framework for handling LGBTQ+ moments at work with confidence rather than panic. No jargon. No lectures. Just the skills people actually need when it stops being theoretical. Built for managers, team leaders and HR professionals — though genuinely useful for anyone who's ever thought I don't want to say the wrong thing and then said nothing at all.
